Our strong advocacy towards life safety and property protection is based on DIIMM Philosophy. The individual elements of this philosophy put together result in the much needed ‘Safe System installation’.
The elements being:

  • Design
  • Install
  • Inspect
  • Maintain/Manage
  • Design: Most appropriate listed /designed system(s) shall be selected by the contractor/installer and/or proposed by the manufactures of fire protection systems. Independent third party firms having required expertise can be engaged to provide the appropriate design solutions.
  • Install: Properly designed and approved fire systems shall be installed by a qualified specialist installer/contractor i.e. FM 4991 Approved or UL Qualified Firestop Contractor acceptable to AA and AHJ. The approval or qualification criteria for such contractors can be obtained from local AHJ i.e the installer/contractor shall be licensed by Building Officials and/or Civil Defense Authority.
  • Inspect: All fire protection systems shall be inspected by IAS AC 291 Accredited Special Inspection Agency in accordance with applicable local and international code requirements.

    NFPA 25: Standard for the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems
  • Maintain/Manage: Over a period of time installed fire & life safety systems deteriorate. Building owners must undertake annual inspection of installed fire & life safety systems to ensure proper maintenance to comply with local authority requirements. Damaged or deteriorated systems or system components shall be regularly maintained and/or replaced.
